〈The Standard, Apr 25, 2026〉The global billionaire population is expected to jump 25 percent to 3,915 over the next five years, with Asia Pacific to house the most billionaires, Knight Frank said.

North America currently accounts for nearly a third of the world's billionaires, but Asia Pacific is poised to overtake the region in 2031, claiming 37.5 percent of the global total, according to Knight Frank's The Wealth Report 2026.

The study also found that the number of billionaires in Saudi Arabia is set to more than double, jumping from 23 to 65. while that of Poland is poised to grow from 13 to 29, representing a twofold increase. Multimillionaires also saw a robust growth, with the number of people who own assets of at least US$30 million (HK$235.1 million) rising from 162,191 in 2021 to 713,626 in 2026, up more than 3 times. 〈Hong Kong Business, Apr 25, 2026〉Hong Kong’s Buildings Department approved 15 building plans in February and issued occupation permits for buildings comprising 1,068 housing units.

The approved plans included nine apartment or apartment-commercial developments, two community services projects, and four factory or industrial developments, with nine in the New Territories, three on Hong Kong Island, and three in Kowloon.

The department also gave consent for works to begin on nine building projects, which, on completion, will provide 19,032 sq m of domestic gross floor area across 226 units and 56,346 sq m of non-domestic gross floor area.

〈The Standard, Apr 24, 2026〉Henderson Land Development' s (0012) Highwood in To Kwa Wan is set to launch Phase 2, offering 415 units at a price that will be higher than Phase 1. Thomas Lam Tat-man, general manager of the Sales (1) Department, said the higher price is due to Phase 2' s upgraded features and a higher share of sea-view units.

This batch focuses on medium to large homes, and more than 60 percent are two bedroom units. Sales brochures and show flats could be unveiled as early as next week, ahead of a launch planned for next month. Lam said that more than 250 units have been sold in Phase 1 so far this year, taking total sales to 379 units, for HK$2.4 billion.

〈Asian Post, Apr 23, 2026〉BIZ AURA, an en-bloc commercial building at 13 Pennington Street in Causeway Bay, is up for sale via public tender.

Colliers, JLL and Alaw Tree & Capital have been appointed as joint agents for the sale. The tender will close at 12 noon on 9 June 2026.

The property has a total gross floor area of approximately 36,100 sq ft. Its retail component spans the ground to 3rd floors and is served by an exclusive lift, whilst the 4th floor includes a dedicated podium.

The retail space is currently leased to a mix of chain restaurants and speciality eateries.

Office units occupy the 5th to 24th floors, with each floor offering about 1,380 sq ft of space in whole-floor layouts.
